Bidi Iredale

Bidi is currently touring in a new play, STAR QUALITY with NTC. Her previous appearances for the company include Janet in ‘Get Up & Tie Your Fingers’, Janey Murphy in ‘The Legend of Lola Montez’, Nan Tom in ‘Bedazzled’, Dorine in ‘Tartuffe’ and Celia in the company’s outdoor production of ‘As You Like It’ in the grounds of Alnwick Castle. She has also appeared in several Christmas shows for the company. Her theatre work with other companies includes appearances in outdoor Shakespeare as Hermia in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream‘ and Stephanie in ‘The Tempest’ for Mad Alice Theatre, on tour in ‘Strawberry Fields’ with Pentabus Theatre, as a creature in another world on the River Tees in ‘Taken’ for Theatre Hullabaloo, and as a hippy for the National Trust Theatre in ‘Baggage’. Her television work includes ‘Coronation Street’, ‘A & E’ and Catherine Cookson’s ‘The Glass Virgin’. She has also made a series of short films for Hartlepool Museum Service and appeared as a variety of characters from Dinner Lady to David Bellamy in corporate training videos.
