Sally is a Glaswegian who most recently toured in a stage adaptation of the classic film comedy WHISKY GALORE which was staged by Nottingham Playhouse. She doesn’t just play Scottish islanders, however! In a marvellous piece of site-specific work by Wilson & Wilson, MULGRAVE, she doubled the roles of an eccentric naturalist and a nineteenth century English aristocrat whilst leading the audience round the beautiful Mulgrave Woods near Whitby. She has also played the leading role of Kate in Brian Friel’s DANCING AT LUGHNASA at the Chester Gateway Theatre and produced her best New York accent for THE FRONT PAGE at Chichester. After playing Mama in NUTCRACKER for Oxfordshire Touring, she joined the cast of Polka Theatre’s BAD GIRLS playing to vast audiences of young Jacqueline Wilson fans throughout the country. Her TV performances have included roles in LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN, CHUCKLEVISION and, most recently, HOLBY CITY. She is also a regular reader of audio books and was a recent winner of the Torgi Award for Talking Books.
