Naomi begins the year performing in CROSSINGS, a new play by South Bank Show Award-winner Julie McNamara. She plays Nzingah, a character with a powerful story to tell. This role proves to be quite a contrast to the straight-talking Sergeant Teresa Singer she played in CBBC’s popular series CRISIS CONTROL. Naomi brought to life a dizzying array of characters in Polka Theatre’s THE JOLLY POSTMAN and before that toured with Theatre Centre in Brendan Murray's delightful HOW HIGH IS UP? She has appeared in THE TWITS twice, playing the singing and dancing Mrs Mugglewump at Bolton Octagon and then recreating the role on tour with Pilot Theatre. She also toured with Pilot in BLOODTIDE and has worked with Shared Experience in their award-winning production AFTER MRS ROCHESTER, as well as with Oily Cart, Action Transport and the National Trust Theatre Company.
Naomi has climbed up wardrobes, crawled through trapdoors and bounced on trampolines. She has leapt out of a giant hat and hung upside-down whilst puppeteering a baby mugglewump!
Naomi has a strong reputation as a highly skilled and experienced drama practitioner, specialising in physical theatre and devising.
