Rose van Hooff

Rose was born in Belgium from Dutch parents and now lives in London. She is currently writing her second one woman children's show, which she will be performing in Antwerp (Belgium) in April, for theatre company 't Appeltje. A versatile actress, Rose has worked both in the UK and abroad, in Theatre, Film, TV and Voice-over. Over the summer she toured as Blue Fairy in Illyria's PINOCCHIO. In 2007 she worked for Boy Who Cried in fringe first nominated LIBERTE,EGALITE, FRATERNITE. Other credits include VIOLA in TWELFTH NIGHT (Drum Theatre Plymouth), CATHERINE in 8 WOMEN (Vlaams Fruit, tour Belgium and Holland) and MEM in HUNGUP (The Space, London). Rose has a keen interest in new writing, old-but-good writing and children's theatre. She loves skiing, writing, playing tennis, her piano and her pink ukulele.Last Christmas she was on tour nationally in BEAUTY & THE BEAST with Fairgame Theatre.Rose is currently performing 'Madame Chichi, dikke mie en de die', an interactive children's show for theatre 't Appeltje in Antwerp, Belgium. Rose got a bursary to write and perform the show last year and it is now being repeated for one week only.
