Paul Milton biography photo
Paul is an extremely versatile man of the theatre: actor, singer, dancer, choreographer and director as well as a very experienced acting teacher. His excellent tenor singing voice and dance skill have placed him in many musicals but he has also played in many classic dramas in some of the UK’s best theatres. Amongst his favourites are Mozart in AMADEUS (Coventry), Feste in TWELFTH NIGHT (Cheltenham), Jacko in PIAF (Perth & Worcester) and, most recently, George Page in THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR (Red Dog Theatre, Gloucester). His many musical credits include CABARET at Chichester, JUDY in the West End as well as productions of GUYS & DOLLS, ANYONE CAN WHISTLE, WEST SIDE STORY, SNOOPY, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, GYPSY, SWEET CHARITY and OLIVER. His many panto performances at Cheltenham, Colchester, Windsor and Worcester have led to writing and directing pantos at Worcester Swan. He has also been devising and directing for Red Dog Productions as part of the Gloucestershire Theatre Network including directing and choreographing the premiere of IT WAS A GLORIOUS NIGHT. Other directing work lately has involved new writing from the Swan Playwrights scheme for whom he directed ETERNAL and the Next Generation Youth Theatre where he directed CUBA. He has been a senior acting tutor at Birmingham School of Acting and is now a freelance acting tutor working for several leading drama schools and colleges.
