David is in the summer/autumn tour of Agatha Christie's WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION for Bill Kenwright Productions.A native of Edinburgh, he has lived in Sussex for many years. He returned to Scotland in 2006 for the season at Pitlochry Festival Theatre where he played Lukyn in Pinero’s THE MAGISTRATE, Seth Lord in THE PHILADELPHIA STORY and John Douglas in FLOUERS O’ EDINBURGH. He has toured for Bath Theatre Royal in THE RIVALS and his many stage roles have included modern classics such as Dr. Warren in THE MADNESS OF GEORGE III, Father Jack in DANCING AT LUGHNASA, Dr. Rance in WHAT THE BUTLER SAW and Norman Thayer in ON GOLDEN POND as well as many comedies, thrillers and pantos. He has had great success playing Charles Dickens in the one-man show THE SPARKLER OF ALBION.Last winter he was in Vienna at the English Theatre in the classic comedy, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE. He is currently touring in another great thriller, WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION by Agatha Christie.
