Tom is currently working with the Stichting Nationale Reisopera in the Netherlands in WAKE, a new opera that uses speaking actors as well as singers. Last year he toured with the RUDE MECHANICALS in MOTHER SWEETAPPLE and with Sixth Sense Theatre Company in FIRST THE WORST, SECOND THE BEST. He has played an Elf at the lovely new Rose Theatre in Kingston in THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS and toured in Brendan Murray's HOW HIGH IS UP? Tom is nothing if not versatile!.An exceptional, dance-trained, physical theatre performer, mime, pupeteer, improviser and all-round excellent actor he has one of the most expressive faces you'll ever see on a stage. An Irishman (from Waterford) he has worked extensively in Dublin at the Gate and the Crypt, Derry (the Playhouse) and Cork (the Everyman). Tom has toured throughout Ireland and the UK with Kabosh, Grafitti and the Rude Mechanicals. Since moving to London, he has worked at the Arcola (MUD), Riverside Studios (JARMAN GARDEN) and for Horla Theatre Company in their gruesome retelling of GRIMMS. The Rude Mechanicals is the UK's only dedicated commedia company and Tom has toured regularly with their wonderful outdoor shows including THE FAIRY QUEEN, THE GOLD RUSH and FIVE GET FAMOUS.
