David Matthews

David is spending this winter recreating 1940s New York for MIRACLE ON 34th. STREET at Farnham Maltings and on tour. His previous foray into film-onto-stage performance was for the same director, Gavin Stride when New Perspectives Theatre Company toured IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Amongst David's other recent roles have been Aston in THE CARETAKER, Kenneth Williams in CLEO, CAMPING & EMMANUELLE and Sweetmeat in two tours of the devised piece, SHIVER, for Platform 4 Theatre. Earlier this year David toured in HANCOCK'S FINEST HOUR. David is also a writer and his adaptation of Oscar Wilde's THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY was produced at Chesterfield's Pomegranate Theatre.
