Sam is spending his second summer in Lyme Regis in Shanty Theatre's niftily titled, THE MYSTERIOUS AND FANTASTICAL WARTIME TALE OF THE SALTY SOCKS OF DUNKIRK. Earlier in the year he played Diggory in THE KISSING DANCE, a new musical based on SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER. A Wiltshire lad who combines fine acting and great musicianship, he graduated from the Actor/Musicians' Course at Rose Bruford College and his wonderful violin and viola playing has brightened up many auditions. Sam started his professional career in WHEN THE LIGHTS WENT OUT for Stroud Theatre, a show conveying the spirit and atmosphere of the Second World War on the home front in rural Gloucestershire. He toured in MACBETH for Fairgame Theatre rejoining them last Christmas with BEAUTY & THE BEAST. Last summer he toured in Shanty Theatre Company's A RAT'S TALE and he spent Christmas making his panto debut in PUSS IN BOOTS at Derby Guildhall.This Christmas, he will be on home turf in JACK & THE BEANSTALK at Salisbury Playhouse.
