Jay Venn

Jay is a very experienced director and deviser of educational and site-specific work. As co-director, with Lissa Chapman, of Clio's Company she has developed a reputation for well-researched, informative and entertaining promenade theatre for young audiences. Much of this work has been at All-Hallows-by-the-Tower where the church's long, colourful history has been exploited to the full for productions exploring Roman, Medieval and Tudor London and the Blitz of World War II examined in moving detail in DARKEST HOURS. Jay has also directed shows on Inland Waterways and narrow-boats, at Chelsea's Physic Garden and in the Royal Park at Greenwich. She is a highly experienced workshop leader and facilitator.
