Paul Milton

Paul is an experienced director in several genres. Being a fine musical performer and a choreographer, he obviously works well with productions that need those extra dimensions, but he has also proved himself a strong deviser and a valued teacher, working at some of the country's top drama schools and youth theatres. Amongst his credits are large-scale community plays like the Malvern Mystery plays performed at Malvern Priory and THE CROWNS OF CRADLEY, a site-specific show in Herefordshire. For Red Dog Productions he devised and directed the actor-musician piece, IT WAS A GLORIOUS NIGHT and he directed premieres of two new works, ETERNAL for the Swan Playwrights in Worcester and RISING SON for Cheltenham Everyman. He is a regular director of Christmas shows, his credits including A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Cheltenham and a string of highly successful pantos at the Worcester Swan including ALADDIN, SNOW WHITE and this year's BABES IN THE WOOD which he is also writing. Paul regularly directs for Guildford School of Acting, Mountview Theatre School, Birmingham School of Acting and Manchester Metroplitan University School of Theatre.
