Tracy is a very experienced physical theatre performer, deviser, puppeteer and workshop facilitator. Having trained at the Desmond Jones School of Mime & Physical Theatre, she brings an inventive physicality to all her work. She is just as at home working on pieces for and with young children or elderly people as she is with professional actors. Working with Ladder to the Moon Theatre Company, Tracy has devised and directed MY LIFE, MY TOWN with 12-19 year-olds, THE SMALLEST CHRISTMAS TREE with 5-8 year olds as well as SUPERHEROES in St. GEORGE'S and THE SNOW QUEEN & OTHER STORIES. Also with Ladder to the Moon, she directed BACK TO THE 50s WITH STAN AND BETTY, an interactive play for elderly hospital wards set in 1953. Other devised work includes STRUCK with Lightning Ensemble, SPROG with Horla Theatre Company, RED at the Latchmere and PERSEPHONE & DEMETER at the Empty Space. She has facilitated many workshop projects including SHADOW PUPPETRY for Open Hand Theatre, MACBETH for Classworks, DEVISING for Lightning Ensemble and PHYSICALITY for Belladonna. Most recently Tracy led a project at Farnham Maltings creating video postcards of residents of a local housing estate. Tracy's technical and physical skills make her an ideal director/facilitator for a wide range of projects and productions.
